Why would the media in China lie? Aren't they known for being truthful and transparent at all times?

It stimulates poopage, which is why moma animals do it to baby animals (I used to breed dogs and cats [at different points of my life]). I don't know about passing a peanut, but it gets the colon doing its thing.

It's weird, to be sure, but completely out of the realm of reality? No.
